Patrick D. Jarvis, C.M., B.Ed., B.Sc. (Hon.), C.E.T.

Patrick is a veteran of 17 Olympic or Paralympic Games

spanning a period of 30 years and 13 host cities. From being an athlete at the Games, to volunteering as a driver, to being a Chef de Mission, to serving at the highest levels of the International Paralympic Committee, he has had a variety of unique perspectives on the Olympic and Paralympic Games.Professionally Patrick is a Petroleum Technologist (SAIT ’81) with an Education degree (UofC ‘89), allowing him to earn a living to fuel his passion for sport and travel. Based on his extensive involvement with the Paralympic Movement, he was named as a Member of the Order of Canada in 2010. Patrick is a native Albertan and although having spent time in over ninety countries, he continues to call Calgary home or at least that is where he pays his taxes.
